A traditional family in a post-modern world.

Jay, engineer by day and philosopher by night, works to support Elle’s mission of raising and educating their children. They live in a North Texas suburb, but dream of raising their own food on their own land someday. As a young family trying to navigate the ever-changing landscape of a postmodern world, they dedicate this blog to a discussion of traditional human values, their purpose, and how they can guide us through the midst of infinite choice. Traditional values, as they understand them, are not oppressive as many contemporary critics have posited, but exist to challenge persons to take on a minimum of competency in order to become trustworthy members of a community where they can better rely on one another, and themselves when necessary.
